About Mike 

Mike Danchak is the Chief Marriage Coach of Tighter Knot.  For four decades, Mike has counseled spouses in troubled marriages.  One of the first counselors in the country to be a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist, Mike has focused on developing and refining an extremely effective process - based on thousands of clincial hours, research, and Biblical teaching - for saving marriages in trouble.  Mike also served in church ministry for almost forty years.  He’s been married to his wife, Sharon, for forty years.  They have two grown children and one grandson.

Overview

Tighter Knot was founded to provide innovative and preventive marriage help to couples.  Research has shown that husbands are very resistant to resources that can help their marriage (marriage books, counseling, etc.).  Too often couples wait until it's too late before they begin working on their marriage.  The Tighter Knot team is committed to providing marriage enrichment husbands don't hate!  Tighter Knot makes marriages stronger with a program that helps husbands and wives become intentional about their relationship.  We believe marriages are the cornerstone of families, churches, and societies.  Our passion is to blend technology and creativity with a clinically validated approach and Biblical foundation to make great marriages better and equip couples before it's too late. Sessions take only five minutes to complete and are packed with comedy, inspiration, and personalized help.

Scott Weinhold founded Tighter Knot with a vision is to leverage technology to help marriages.  Scott has been married 16 years, has a ministry and corporate background, and lives in the Dallas area with his wife and two children.
