Baby clothes can be categorized as a necessity, but there are several occasions that have the ability to make the baby the center of attraction. It is only with the clothes the kid wears that the mother's fashion sense is made obvious. Here, the clothes becoming small has very little concern, it is only the style that is given the maximum importance. Tradition is not far behind.
1. The primary of these occasions is the homecoming. All mothers will be so happy to tell what she had clad her kid in when she was bringing her home. Depending on period of the year, the mom gets different outfits. It is also the sentiment that is attached to the cloth that makes the occasion as well as the outfit special. It is a great thing to do if these outfits are saved in the memory box along with the different toys and other things done for the kid. It is always important to highlight each outfit when they have been used by the kid for a special occasion. So, it requires some special attention.
2. The next big occasion is the introduction ceremony, where the kid is introduced to the family. It is important what the kid wears for the first time when it is going to meet it grandparents, uncles, aunts and other close family friends. The kid must be dressed up for posing in front of the camera for all the pictures that are going to be clicked during this occasion. Here, the weather must also be considered. And making the kid feel comfortable in all the attires it wears is very important. A cotton dress would do well during summers. And this is the time of the year when others will not hesitate to change the diapers for the kid.
3. There will be regular outings to show the baby off to the friends in a more personal fashion. During this, the kid is invariably clad in a white garment that can be seen as christening attire. The kid can be clad in a normal gown, or even a suit. One has to keep in mind that the kid will be passed around a million times on such occasions. So, it must be made sure that the kid is dressed up light and comfortable, no matter how cute the dress looks on her.
4. For occasions like bris, the dressing is completely gender specific. The tuxedos and the baby suits are really good for such occasions. They can be surprisingly inexpensive at times, the tuxedos. There are penguin suits available for very low prices, for about thirty dollars. The traditional attires are also available, the suits that are worn during the baptism ceremony. They are mostly long gowns white in color. These suits are also available at down to earth prices and can be worn for any ceremony that has the kid in it.
5. The final and the most special occasion for the year, that every mother looks out for is the first birthday of the baby, that is celebrated in a grand manner. The outfit worn during the first birthday is somewhat similar to the one worn during the homecoming, but a different style can be followed for this occasion. This dress must be good enough to take stains, especially cake stains.
