Pythagoras born in 570 BC in a Greek Island named Somas near to Turkey. His father was Apollo and mother was Pythias. In the age of 40 he left his birth place and went to Croton of Italy. It was in this commercial city he developed his famous works. He was more spiritual and mathematical works were also based on that. He had excellent memory. He had a school to teach his religious thoughts where strict rules were followed.

The followers of Pythagoras were called as Pythagoreans. Ladies also parted in that equal to men. But all teaching was kept in secret.
