As we all know, Louis Vuitton has become the spokesmen of luxury in fashion world. Every time its new products are released, a great many fashionable aficionados would be attracted. So does this Louis Vuitton latest Monogram Gallea Jewelry collection.
This Monogram Gallea collection contains four rings, earrings, hoop earrings, two pendants, a long necklace and a bracelet. The origins of the collection are founded on an ideal of warmth and sensuality: inspired by the irregular shapes of pebbles, these tacile pieces of jewelry are smooth to the touch, as though polished by the sea. The Monogram flowers appear and disappear on each piece, like a pebble concealing its irregular shapes and textures beneath a soft, smooth surface. The necklace chains are a soft reminder of waves lapping the pebbles on a beach, leaving light sea foam in their wake. The long necklace is made up of 8 small, asymmetrical pebbles linked by a delicate, supple chain, like the pendant where the pebble falls perfectly in the hollow at the base of the neck. Shadows play and light appears through the pattern’s three different levels; firstly through the Monogram flowers barely engraved in the gold, giving way to a second non-polished half-open level, as if fine sand were nestled inside the flowers, leading to the third and final openwork level.
Its name “Gallea” originates from the French word “Galet” with a meaning of cobblestones. If you read it, you would discover it sounds like the name of a graceful lady. The distinctive design, the gentle name as well as its exquisite craftsmanship creates a jewelry collection with warmth and sensuality.
