Folding Chair back covers?
I am nearing the end of my budget for my wedding, and i am looking for REALLY cheap chair covers for the folding chairs at my wedding. I will need 200. I am NOT looking to buy them anywhere, I will make them myself. My idea is taking a plain pillow case and slipping it over the back of the chair, and since we are having a patriotic wedding, use red/blue organza for the bows. I do not want to cover the seat of the chair since that'll be more expensive and if you cover the entire chair, the fabric tends to get bunched up and slide around under people's bums. I would really appreciate everyone's thoughts on this or new suggestions. And please if anyone is going to be rude or think this is a dumb question, please don't waste my time by answering this question, just move on. Everyone else, thanks for all suggestions.
i just used white folding chairs. we rented them, and then they went back to the place. i didn't have anything more to do with them. if you want to save money, leave them plain. i'm not so sure of how a pillowcase will lolk, but you'd still need to buy the pillow cases, which won't be cheap. what are you going to do with 200 white pillowcases at the end? i'm not being rude, i'm just asking...
